Join a Supportive Community Dedicated to Creating Meaningful Change
Way Forward exists to give people in recovery or re-entry programs the tools, support, and real employment opportunities they need to build stable, thriving lives. We focus on structured softskill training, court-approved life coaching, and direct job placement into second-chance employment.
Goals:
• Improve participant employment outcomes by 60% within 90 days of referral
• Strengthen long-term sobriety and reduce recidivism through accountability and structure
• Provide employers with skilled, bonded, and tax-incentivized hires
Values:
• Integrity – Transparency with partners and clients
• Support – We walk with each participant through every step
• Accountability – Participants are held to job readiness and sobriety benchmarks
• Collaboration – Recovery is stronger when we work together
The Way Forward addresses a shared reality
Many of us face challenges like involvement with the justice system, gaps in employment history, lack of access to stable housing, fragmented communities, or limited pathways to meaningful employment. These obstacles can make progress feel out of reach. Our project is grounded in the fact that collective effort and fresh perspectives lead to sustainable solutions.
The Way Forward is a vocational rehabilitation and vocational coaching initiative designed to bring people together to solve critical community issues such as employment barriers for justice-involved individuals, reintegration challenges after incarceration, and gaps in soft skills or workforce readiness through practical, inclusive steps. As a participant, you’ll contribute to meaningful outcomes, connect with others, and gain valuable experiences in a welcoming environment.
